iPhone may have emerging-market version
Apple is about to give up its policy of not lowering prices nor releasing different versions for different markets. A cheaper version of the iPhone may arrive in Brazil soon, focusing on emerging markets. The equipment will be available also in China, Russia and India, according to the Lazard Capital Markets consulting. The price has not been defined yet, but the cheaper version will not be able to access wireless connections, limiting the use of the smartphone.
