Yahoo! launches mobile portal
Yahoo! has launched a mobile site called Yahoo! Mobile, who brings in the same interface search, news, social networks, email and weather forecast tools. The mobile site was first presented by the company in February, during Mobile World Congress, in Spain. Yahoo! Mobile can be used in 300 models of phones – all with HTML browser, as well as iPod Touches and iPhones. The service is available in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, India, Indonesia and Filipinas, but shall be rolled out to other countries soon.
