Women puchased 50% more on perfumery online
Some Brazilian capitals may be considered fashion centers, but when the issue is online luxury perfumery and cosmetics, countryside consumers spend more. Sack’s, the country’s top perfumery and cosmetics e-retailer, said countryside consumers account for 55.1% of total site users, who purchased 52.3% more last year than in 2007. The main driver was a 58% rise in the number of female consumers, to more than 190,000. Women generated more than R$ 25.2 million in sales for Sack’s last year in countryside cities, 40% more than capital city’s consumers and 50% more than in 2007, due to the convenience of the service.
