09.04.2009 Users of social networks may be 9% more productive The use of social networks and online services as Twitter, Facebook and Orkut in the workplace may lead to increased productivity, according to a study performed by Australia’s University of Melbourne. The study says 70% of workers use the internet in the office for personal matters and this group was 9% more productive and creative compared to people that did not use the internet for fun.
