The next generation of mobile telephony may halt in Brazil
Brazil has 153 million mobile phone users, but the evolution of the segment may come to a halt. An event in Rio de Janeiro discussed the danger 4G does not develop in the country if phone companies and manufacturers do not get the correct frequency range to run. Today, the 2.5 GHz frequency range is used by paid TV systems (6.2 million subscribers).
