Southeast accounts for 64% of Brazilian blog users
>Twitter grows in the ranking of social networks, but has not topped Orkut in Brazil in use to post opinions on shopping experience. Last year, Orkut had a 61.1% share of buzz, while Twitter reached only 3.8%. This year, Twitter jumped from the sixth to the second spot in usage to post opinions on goods and services, with 23%, still far from Orkut’s 45.9%. Data were released by E.Life, who monitors and analyzes online word-of-mouth communications. Most users are in the 19-25 years-old range, followed by the 26-30 years old group. The Southeastern region accounts for 64.8% of total users, followed by the South, with 15.6%.
