Smartphones heat mobile market
Smartphones are the industry’s bet in a year of tepid growth. According to IDC consulting, the smartphone segment shall grow by 3.4% this year, in the only positive news in a market expected to drop by 8.3%. In Brazil, smartphones have started spreading up, following the arrival of Apple’s iPhone and the 3G mobile phones.
