Nextel uses mobile marketing to enter new market
Nextel launched an interactive campaign to promote its arrival to Salvador, in Northeastern Bahia state. The promotion used mobile marketing and internet to attract prospects. Consumers received an email marketing message inviting them to access Nextel’s site. There, after typing his mobile phone number, the user received a customized SMS with his name and a text informing on the arrival of Nextel service to the city. The ones interested in subscribing the service were directed to a sales phone service.
