Mobile phone sales drop 10.8% in Q2
Worldwide, mobile phone sales dropped 10.8% year-on-year, to 269.6 million, according to IDC consulting. Sales fell less than in Q1, however (-17.2%). IDC expects sales to improve in the second half of the year, but will end the year 13% below 2008.
