Mobile marketing to rise fast
A study released in the US by Harris Interactive shows consumers are becoming more confident in using cell phones as a payment and shopping device. Twenty-six percent of all consumers interviewed feel completely safe when browsing m-shopping sites and 45% say they feel somehow safe. However, only 46% of all users are prone to shop using their mobile phones, even when safety is not an issue. Younger consumers are much more likely to embrace the new technology, as 59% of consumers betwwen 18 and 34 years old said they would shop using mobile, over 34% of adults over 55 years old.
