MercadoLivre profits skyrocket
MercadoLivre, Latina America largest auction site, ended Q2 with 19% sales rise, to R$ 40.9 million (US$ 21.53 million). Its net profits, however, jumped 127% year-on-year, to R$ 6.7 million (US$ 3.53 million) and the amount of products sold went up 35%, to 6.9 million.
