22.06.2009 Latin American countries to have new e-commerce rules Unctad released a report with recommendations for Latin American countries to develop e-commerce. The goal of the document is to increase the use of IT in Latin America, specially in retail and administration activities. The text says more rules are needed to cover the broad cyber world and today’s rules must be changed. Above all, says the report, today’s rules must be improved to make viable commerce between countries, regions or states of a same country that have different e-commerce regulations.
