Kroger offers cell phone credits to loyal customers
US supermarketer Kroger will offer mobile phone credits and text messages as part of a nationwide loyalty program, in a partnership with i-wireless. Holders of KrogerPlus card will receive free credits in i-wireless phones sold in the chain’s stores. To each US$ 100 spent on the loyalty card, customers will receive 20 free minutes, up to US$ 1.500 spent per month. Until late June, the program must be operational in Kroger’s more than 2,300 stores.
