Internet grows in the luxury segment
Convenience, easiness and security are the three main reasons attracting luxury consumers to the web. Affluent Brazilians are mor and more using the internet to shop. According to a recent Ibope survey, 20.4% of consumers with monthly income between R$ 3.000 and R$ 4.499 purchased online in the last 30 days. In the +R$ 4.500 range, the figure rises to 27%. The survey interviewed 16,800 people all over the country.
