Consumers tweet to purchase apartments
Tecnisa building company sold a R$ 500,000 (US$ 250,000) apartment using social network Tweeter, showing this channel has a strong sales potential. Companies must be careful to be successful, however. BestShopTV website learned it the hard way: a 90% discount promotion last Thursday night made access skyrocket 1,300%, crashing the servers and leading the retailer to postpone the promotion.
