Consumer confidence in e-commerce beats record
Two offline factors helped increasing consumer confidence in the online commerce last July. The cold winter, specially in the Southern Brazil, and the H1N1 flu outbreak led the index to reach an all-time high figure of 87.02%, according to Brazilian Chamber of E-Commerce (Câmara-e.net) and e-bit. Also, Brazilian e-commerce is becoming more mature and the logistics more efficient, helping to increase confidence.
