Central Park has VIP mobile guide
In an adaptation of the audioguides available in large museums worldwide, dozens of US celebrities have started offering guided visits to the top Central Park destinations using their mobile phones. Visits are a mix of trivia, personal recollections and a lot of history. Yoko Ono, for instance, presents Strawberry Fields garden; Jimmy Fallon presents North Meadow, while Whoppi Goldberg talks about Wollman ice rink, where she learned to ice skate. Central Park Preservation Group has appointed 40 places with green signs and a phone number, to which tourits can call and heard the information.
