Amazon advances on e-books
Amazon.com has announced the release of a new version of its digital publishing reader, Kindle 2, intensifying its efforts to rule on this new industry. Amazon saud the new version of his device has seven times more memory than the original Kindle, moves between pages faster and has e higher-definition screen, although still black-and-white. Kindle 2 has a new design, with rounded keys and a small joystick-like control. The new device will be on the market on February, 24th, for US$ 359. Amazon has put several new features on Kindle, as a function to read written text, so customers can listen to their e-books instead of reading them. Amazon will also allow users to transfer texts between Kindle and other portable devices.
