Accenture does research on digital content
An Accenture research on content digital found out that consumers have been demanding contents in multiple platforms, leading to the fragmentation of the audience. According to the survey, consumers have quickly been adopting to new ways to watch the programs they want. In Brazil, Mexico and Malaysia, for instance, consumers are three times more interested in watching video content on their mobile phones than consumers in developed countries, as the US, Germany and the UK. But generally speaking, all over the world consumers have been watching more content, regardless the platform; there are several opportunities to new media, specially in the emerging markets; and consumers are more likely to subscribe for services.
